When I decided that my own Lodge needed a website, I began looking for someone to build it. The prices I received were eye-watering, the process seemed unnecessarily complicated, and it was often difficult to understand exactly what was included. Once hosting, maintenance and other additional costs were added, the final price could be very different from the one first advertised.

I felt there had to be a simpler, fairer and more transparent way.

Rather than abandon the idea, I taught myself how to design and build websites. I created one for my own Lodge, followed by websites for other Lodges. As more people saw them, I was increasingly asked, “Who built your website?” and “Could you create something like that for us?”

That is what inspired me to offer this service.
